Cave Painter Coffee Roasters Logo

Cave Painter Coffee

Cave Painter Coffee was born out of the same eternal spark that inspired early humans to leave their marks on cave walls over 30,000 years ago. They pressed their handprints as if to wave to us across generations and geographies and say, “I am here! Come celebrate, come dance!” This golden thread of creativity weaves through all of humanity, and our sincere hope is that our coffee plays a small part in connecting you to it through under-represented coffee producers. May it uplift & inspire you to leave your own “cave painting” behind for the world.

Our roasting approach focuses on even development to maximize sweetness and preserve clean, juicy fruit character. Every bag is marked with a roast date and batch number that corresponds to a quality-tested roast in our database. Any batch that doesn't meet our standards is donated to a local food bank. Kozlow Koffee

Lucky that Parra, a skinny kid from LA, found himself at college and Kozlow, the girl from just down the coast, also ended up at the same place. More serendipitous, perhaps, especially if this were cinema, is that they crossed paths at a coffee shop. Foreshadowing and all. They had a kid, three actually, but the first took both their names and started a coffee company with his father, no longer quite the skinny kid from LA, thus fulfilling the prophecy of their long ago coffee rendezvous. Between them designing, baristaing, and living a little differently, the story continues here. Kozlow Koffee. Roasted Delicately in the Pacific Northwest, as they say.
